Dougie's Up To Date

Dougie is a super fun mare with FEI show miles to 1.20m and the ability to do more!

She is a forward thinking mare and more of a sensitive ride who is currently being ridden and enjoyed by a small female rider.  Dougie loves her job and will try hard for her rider. She has plenty of double clear rounds and will make someone and fun and competitive horse.

Bred well… her sister Calvaro’s Up To Date jumps at 1.60m under Lilly Attwood (GBR).  Her sire Douglas is a Darco-son who competed success-fully in the international 1.50m classes with rider Conor Swail. Unfortunately, a serious injury ended Douglas’ sports career, but his enormous scope and jumping technique will never be forgotten. His offspring  are in the spotlight at the highest level. Suma’s Zorro participated at the World Equestrian Games in Normandy 2014 and won several Grand Prix competitions; in 2017 he won the GP of Spruce Meadows. Dougie Douglas was sold for 1.4 million Euros at the Goresbridge Auction. He won the Grand Prix and the Nations Cup of Odense in a single weekend!
