McDouglas is an exceptional young horse, bred using a first-class show-jumping recipe. He canters in a captivating way and emphasises his jumping qualities with scope, carefulness and leg technique. 

His potential seems almost limitless, thanks to extraordinary breeding. The bigger the jumpe the better this horse gets!

Recently broken he is showing all the qualities of  an A* student! 

Sire, Darco-son Douglas competed success-fully in the international 1.50m classes with rider Conor Swail. Unfortunately, a serious injury ended Douglas’ sports career, but his enormous scope and jumping technique will never be forgotten. As a 3-year old, Douglas underwent his stallion test in Adelheidsdorf, earning the 1st place in jumping with 139.49. As a 4-year old Douglas was the Champion of Ireland in his age group. At the age of 6, he was Irish reserve champion. His offspring show real quality and he has many superior children! 

McDouglas also comes from an impressive mother line, his mother jumped 1.30m herself and her full brother jumps 1.40m. His grandmother also produced 1.60m / 1.45m and 1.40m jumpers!
